Centers
· Different centers going on at the same time.
· Provides students the opportunity to work with other students.
· Students become more independent with work and establish positive routines in the classroom.
· Sometimes work will be sent home. Other times, the students will work on something that doesn’t require pencil and paper or will be hung up at school.
· In Groups of approximately 6.
· One center is always a reading center with me.
· Mrs. Olsen (reading specialist) comes in during center time to work with our Kindergarten class!
· One of the times during the day that the students LOVE! They always look forward to it.
